Beautiful pics.

My Mother died in March, I want to get a tattoo of her portrait, but I want it to look like her and be a good job, can you recommend anyone.

Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your Mum. I only know of tattoo artists locally; where are you from? That being said, I don't really know of any good portrait-type tattoo artists, sorry.

Thanks very much for you answer.

I live in Winnipeg and we know each other, but I do not want to bother you.

I am so happy to see you content, safe, happy and loved. I have been dealing with my mother's death and you came to mind.

Hey Zeus:

You know, I've been waffling as to reply to this or not. Apparently the "Yes, reply" has won out and I blame hormones and/or insomnia to a certain extent.

I AM content, safe and loved. Of course I am. Life isn't perfect but I am enjoying it immensely. I have my own family (very soon to have a new addition, especially if these contractions keep up) and we live in a deeply eccentric old house in Wolseley.

In any case, I am truly sorry about your Mum. I really don't know any good portrait artists in Winnipeg. Perhaps you could get a flower that she really liked or some other sort of symbol that would remind you of her. You'd probably love my tattoo artist; she's smart and quietly hilarious, not to mention crazily talented. Her name is Alex Adams and she owns a shop with her husband (who is also very, very talented) called Tattoos for the Individual. They could probably brainstorm something really nice for you.

Okay, I'm going to try to get some sleep now. Feel free to stay and lurk. Don't be afraid to pop in and say hello once in a while.

As usual it is difficult to get the tone of your message without seeing your face. I still over react to things but control it much better, so I will assume "lurk" has no particular message or meaning.

My comment about you were sincere your state of mind is reflected in your beautiful pictures. It is so intellegent to live happily but so many people are not very good at it, you seem to have a handle on it.

You have always been cool and always will be. I have such fond memories of you and will always like you (toned down to avoid any stalker references). You really taught me so much.

I guess your too old for philosophy now, but one mans crap is another mans fertilizer.

A sib for Trid is excellent.

Keep shining on - Peace

Alright, it's been a long time in between here because hey- I have an infant who is clingier than his sister was. Sometimes I don't get to have two hands to type.

As to lurking: it means nothing more than just what it is, to lurk. It's not a bad thing, I promise.

I appreciate the comment about my beautiful pictures. I try to make them beautiful. It's nice to hear from someone whose opinion I value somewhat(ish).

Despite all the bullshit (and come on- there was plenty of it), I also have fond memories of you. Funny tricks brains can play on people, leaving just the fuzzies and taking out most of the bad. I was pretty messed up for a while after you left but I like to think that I'm on track with myself now. We're both getting so old now, aren't we? You must have teenagers now, don't you?

My friend, one is never too old for philosophy.

I have no idea if you will get this or not, but yes. I hope you are well and moderately happy and doing things that make your soul feel good.

Did you see Neil Young when he was here? I did; I had a marvelous time and couldn't help but think of you.

Be well, etc.
